Emelina was an exceptionally hard-working woman both as a mother, and a wife. She was born in Cojamarca, Peru.
She was raised in a Christian family with a caring heart for her children, nearest family members, and friends. She worked from a young age, helping her parents and at the age of 18, she wed and had children. She worked consistently to give her children a better quality of life and share with those in need.
Emelina lost her battle to breast cancer at the age of 35 on March 29th. Her nine children and grandchildren are her remaining family members. Of those nine, the 9th resides in San Jose, CA and his name is Humberto.
In honor of his deceased mother, the restaurant is now graced with her name.
